Shana Gozansky

Shana Gozansky is a theater director and occasional perfomer.

Her work has been presented at the Bowery Poetry Club, Chashama, Dickinson College, GAleGAtes et al, Manhattan Theatre Source, and the Red Room. New York productions include an adaptation of Him by ee cummings, The Midway World, written in collaboration with poet Jessica Starr, VisionIntoArt's A Tough Line, Couch Surfer by Ian Belton, and 100 Things That Will Make Your Life Better, devised in collaboration with director Hazel Gould and actress Nicole Shalhoub.

Shana has assistant directed a variety of productions at theaters including Henry Miller's Theater, Manhattan Ensemble Theater, the Geffen, and Berkeley Repertory Theater. She has a B.A. in Theater from Bard College and is an Artist-in-Residence at Chashama and a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab. She and Rob Grace recently received a Lower Manhattan Cultural Council grant to develop their play, The Little Secrets.
