Isaac Butler
As a director, he was most recently a guest artist at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he directed Clay McLeod Chapman's volume of smoke. He wishes he had the skills required to write humorous and whimsical bios. Since he doesn't, he will instead inform you that his other Chapman credits include numerous productions of volume of smoke in Virginia and New York as well as positive i.d. and redbird. Other credits include Dan Trujillo's Talk of the Walk-Up, George Hunka's In Public, the English Language Premiere of Line Knutzon's First You're Born and the English Language Premiere of Peretz Hirschbein's lost Yiddish classic The Amulet. You can read his
thoughts on theatre, politics and cultural ephemera at his blog Parabasis. |
